Construction laboratory
The construction laboratory plays a key role in ensuring the quality of construction work. Timely involvement of laboratory specialists in the implementation of projects helps to reduce the risk of accidents, timely identify defects and ensure compliance of materials and structures with current building codes.
ENGINEERING CORP. LABORATORY provides services for comprehensive inspection and quality assessment of building materials, products and structures by destructive and non-destructive methods, as well as geodetic services.
There is a stationary laboratory for testing building materials and the only mobile laboratory in Ukraine, equipped with modern European, American and domestic equipment.
Main areas of activity
The functions of the construction laboratory cover a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the reliability, safety and compliance of construction objects with current standards:
Conducting tests of construction materials:
- analysis and determination of physical and mechanical properties of concrete, metal, brick, soil, asphalt concrete, etc. to determine their quality and operational characteristics;
- determination of strength, hardness, pressure, length, composition, humidity, density, etc.
Assessment of building structures:
- study of operational characteristics and wear resistance of building elements;
- detection of defects and damage.
Conducting tests using non-destructive testing methods:
- use of ultrasound, georadar, shock-pulse and echolocation devices to determine and assessment of the condition of materials without damaging them.
Engineering and geodetic works:
- quality control of construction work according to the project;
- geodetic support of construction.
Laboratory support of construction sites:
- quality control of construction at all stages of project implementation.
Construction Laboratory Services
ENGINEERING CORP. LABORATORY provides a range of services for inspection, testing and quality control of construction materials and structures:

ENGINEERING CORP. LABORATORY uses the most modern equipment for comprehensive surveys and research of foundations, reinforced concrete structures, metal structures, roadbeds, quality control of building materials, as well as for geological and geodetic surveys.
In addition to standard methods, we use the latest technologies that allow us to expand the range of research:

- conducting concrete strength tests.
2. Portable GPR GP8000 Pro Table GPR for Concrete (Screening Eagle Technologies AG technology)
- Investigation of structural elements of bridge decks;
- determining the location of reinforcing bars and wires under tension before drilling, cutting and core sampling;
- mapping the locations of shallow communications;
- assessment of concrete quality.
3. GS8000 Pro Mapping System GPR (Screening Eagle Technologies AG technology) AG)

4. A set of modern equipment for controlling the base metal and welded joints of metal structures
- the use of KMDI-1400, TP-44, TD-42M, UT-51M, UD2-50 allows for a comprehensive inspection of metal structures.
5. SOKKIA FX-201 and TOPCON ES-62 total stations together with LEICA GS-16 GNSS receiver
- combination of GPR with high-precision geodetic instruments and programs allows detailed and accessible visualization of survey objects.
6. SIT+ pile echolocation device with wave hammers (Profound)
- Confirmation of the continuity and length of reinforced concrete piles of various diameters.
Among the objects that were surveyed and studied by the specialists of ENGINEERING CORP. LABORATORY, most of the bridges and bridge crossings in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, which were restored after destruction, as well as in the Poltava region:

- Repair of the bridge crossing over the Trubizh River at km 28+780 of the T-10-18 Boryspil-Berezan-Yagotyn highway (Kyiv region)
- Repair of the bridge crossing over the canal at km 29+110 of the R-69 Kyiv-Vyshgorod-Desna-Chernihiv highway (Kyiv region)
- Repair of the bridge crossing over the Teteriv river at km 37+210 of the T-10-05 Ivankiv-/M-07/ highway, (Kyiv region)
- Repair of the bridge crossing over the Trubizh at km 70+145 of the M-03 Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhanskyi (Kyiv region)
- Repair of the bridge crossing over the Teteriv River at km 78+850 of the M-07 Kyiv-Kovel-Yahodyn highway (Kyiv region)
